One of the fun things we did while Amy and Mike were here, was to go up to Olympia and Tacoma. Mike had a baptism on Saturday morning in Olynpia, so we went to that first. We left here at &:00 am and were at the church by 9:15 am. The baptism was a stake baptism, so there were 5 kids. It was really nice, it started in the Chapel and then each ward was called to go and have the font. Then the confirmation was just the single kid and his or her guests. After the baptism, we went to another building, I think it was in Lacey, to meet Elder Bishoff, Mikes Buddy. Then we went to Tacoma and met 8 elders for lunch at Applebees and dessert at Coldstone. They were so much fun....I love the missionaries. We said our good-byes and went to the hotel and checked in. We then went to Seattle to see the temple and the spaceneedle. As we were driving by the Seahawks stadium they wer letting off fireworks, because they had won the game....woohooo!! Then we went back to the hotel and went to bed. Sunday morning we went to the Soundview ward for church and then to the Betteridge home for a wonderful luncheon eith their family and some of the people that Mike baptized in that ward. We said our good-byes in their driveway and Amy and Mike went to the airport and the kids and I drove home to Vancouver. We had a great time with Aand M. It was good to have them home for a while. A great start for the new year!
