The sunlight peeking through the trees in the Grotto

Tina loved the Grotto, I do too, it is such a beautiful, peaceful place.

Yesterday the elementary school had an assembly on heroes, commemorating Martin Luther King. Some of the kids from each grade got to read their papers to the whole school and their guests. Abby was one of those kids. She wrote a paper on me. I was so surprised and of course I was bawling like a baby. She did an awesome job, by herself. Mark, Dana, Rodney, Cody, Leanne and I were there. Marshall and Evan were there with their classes, too. It was a good assembly, and they focused on freedom, more than civil rights. Another fun thing that happened this week was a visit from my dear friend Tina Hanks, all I have to say is that it was too short! We had a wonderful time together. The first night we were talking, and talking, when we looked up at the clock it was 2AM. We're way too old to stay up that late!! It was so good to reminisce, about all the fun times we had with the kids when they were little, and catch up with each other.

That was really cute. I love the sunrays in the Grotto picture. You should enlarge and frame it! Love you.
