Diffuse large B cell lymphoma

I met with Dr. Simon today. He wants me to get a PET scan . Then we will start the fun stuff.
Pathological Diagnosis:
Left inguinal mass, incisional biopsy:
Diffuse large B cell lymphoma. Focal residual lymph node with lymphoid hyperplasia and sinus histiocytosis.
The immunoprofile (by IHC) and histomorphology of the extranodal infiltrate and focal nodal infiltrate are those of aggressive B cell lymphomia, best classified as diffuse large B cell lymphoma.

If you can understand all that you should be a med-student or an MD. The T cells are involved also, but the test was inconclusive on them.
The PET scan will tell us what stage I am in and what drugs to use for the chemo.
It doesn't look so bad, so don't worry! I'm not. "This life is the test!" Love Ya'll

Glad to hear things will get better, I know it will be a long journey for you but you have so much support!! I wish I could be there to help but I do offer you my prayers. Talk to you soon! Love you, Dana

Lyndi,
I know...you have to get on the internet and look up the meaning of each word and then try to put it all together! I didn't like the word "agressive". When you you have the PET scan? Hair or no hair you are a beautiful woman so don't worry about that. We must find you some cute hats that are soft and feel good and keep you warm!!! (Not like the kind we wore on the girls night out) :) xo xo Cynthia
