Forgotten Carols
We drove up to Woodland, and watched their production of "The Forgotten Carols" by Michael McLean. It was Woodland 1st and 2nd wards that put it on, they did two performances today, one at 3 (the one we went to) and another at 7. We were right up by Mt St. Helens....it is really pretty up there. The music was very well done, and the actors in the play were really good. It was a fun afternoon. They ended with the video of "The Nativity". We have been to two really spiritual programs for Christmas, Last Sunday night we took our neighbors, Scott and Linda, to the Stake Devotional for Christmas. It was super! The talent in the church never ceases to amaze me. The spirit is so strong when music is there too. I love it! The kids were really good both times. The stake choir did "the Little Drummer Boy" oh my goodness , it was fantastic......as good as any one I've heard do it. Abby was really excited that they did it. I think that is her favorite Christmas song....mine too, it's tied with "Joseph" from the forgotten carols.

Mom, tell Mark to help you post some pix! I wann see the place all mom-ified and Christma-tastic! Which neighbors aer Scott and Linda? That' really cool! I know--I am always impressed by the music at our stake functions--in conference three kids got up and played piano cello and flute (I think) and it was unbelieveably gorgeous! I wish comeone woudl play Gesu Bambino on piano & cello! I LOVE THAT SONG! Our ward is coming along (talent-wise), too (but when I got here, it was pretty much me and Angie and another lady with any musical ability at all). Anywhooooooo...we miss you! XOXOXO
