Today was most beautiful of days. The weather was perfect. Both sets of grandparents are here and Sara and Rob are here with their cute kids. Abbys' baptism was wonderful. Both of the speakers did a fantastic job of conveying the message of Baptism and the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
Clint Techmeyer made Abby a little heart box out of apple wood with a couple of apple seeds in it, and talked about how much service can come from the choice to be baptized, and Mike Moniz gave her a little jar with a pearl in it to represent the Holy Ghost. If you swirl the pearl around it makes a sound, but you have to listen carefully to hear it. A perfect way to explain listening to the Spirit.

Congratulations Abby. I hope you will always remember that special day. I still do. Mom, you look great! I had no idea Gramp baptised Abby. Why didn't Mark do it? Where are pictures of him?
